Horse Appraiser
Job Description
American Horse Appraisal, LLC is currently seeking part-time, commission-based horse appraisers. Applicants must possess an extensive background in the horse industry and demonstrate experience in one or more of the following equine areas: training, showing, competing, buying and selling horses, riding Instruction, or rodeo (NO EXCEPTIONS).
AHA appraisers will often perform appraisals for:
- Insurance Companies
- Individuals That Have Insurance Claims
- Attorneys
- Accountants
- Divorce Settlements
- Estate Settlements
- Tax Purposes
- Government Agencies
- Nonprofits
In addition, applicants must have great communication skills, be well organized, and have the willingness to take the initiative to work without supervision. Applicants are also required to hold a Principles of Valuation certificate. This is not for the backyard type of horse enthusiast.
