Position Overview
Five Star Ranch is seeking a motivated and trustworthy Equestrian Program Manager & Trainer to help grow our horse boarding and training program. This individual will play a key role in attracting new horse owners, providing professional horse training, and instructing riders while helping maintain smooth day-to-day barn operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships with horse owners and attract new clients interested in boarding, training, and instruction.
- Provide professional training for horses in the program.
- Teach riders how to properly ride, handle, and care for their horses.
- Represent Five Star Ranch in a professional and welcoming manner to prospective clients.
- Assist with client communications and occasionally accept payments when needed.
- Help oversee general barn operations and ensure stalls and barn areas are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Coordinate with barn staff and ensure routine tasks are completed.
- Maintain a safe environment for horses, riders, and visitors.
Qualifications
- Experience training horses and teaching riders.
- Hunter/Jumper discipline preferred
- Strong communication and people skills to attract and retain clients.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and professional.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a barn environment.
- Passion for horse care, rider development, and maintaining high standards in the facility.
