Equine Photographer for Trail Riding Stable
Job Description
Located in Estes Park, CO, National Park Gateway Stables offers horseback riding tours through the Rocky Mountain National Park. Bunk-style housing is provided for all employees. You will be expected to work 5-6 days a week. This is a seasonal position, ranging from May to October. You will receive a contract salary along with a percentage of sales. You will be responsible for capturing action shots of guests during trail rides to be sold as souvenirs. Photos will need to quickly be edited and organized in large batches before the guests return. You will need to assist in the sale of the photos via prints or digital copies. This job requires a passion for horses, knowledge of horse behavior, and, ideally, prior photography experience. On occasion, you may be expected to help with chores around the barn. You must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather, and skilled at interacting with guests.
