Job Description
Groom/Support Staff / Horse Professional – We are a private family ranch looking for an experienced equestrian who’s ready to move into a more stable, long-term role! We are looking for a self-motivated and passionate individual to join our family.
You’ll be supporting the management of a beautiful private barn that houses approximately 8 horses, 2 miniature Highland cows, and 2 Valais Black Nose sheep. The role is detailed, with responsibilities —including feeding, grooming, stalls, turnouts/in, assisting with various schedules, riding, organization of supplies, inventories, various chores/cleaning and the overall organization and upkeep of the barn and facilities.
We provide a private brand new studio type cabin/tiny house all utilities and expenses as part of the compensation in addition to a monthly salary (DOE). All small pets are considered on an individual basis.
If you have the experience and are comfortable working independently, supporting all aspects of the barn, have a passion for living on site, are positive, friendly, able and willing to “wear many hats” as needed with a long-term mindset, we’d love to hear from you! Currently in the process of building our new facility in Western Montana ( Big Arm ) . Looking to fill this position asap.
