Assistant Groom
Job Description
- Grooming 5-8 horses daily
- Grooming/prepping horses for daily and for shows
- Braiding and unbraiding horses
- Tacking and untacking 5-8 horses daily
- Clean and maintain tack and tack room daily
- Lunging as needed
- Cooling down horses as needed
- Perform Bemer treatments as needed
- Blanketing as needed
- Feeding
- Hay steaming
- Cleaning and refilling water buckets
- Picking stalls as needed
- Drag rings
- Laundry as needed
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to put the horse first
- Must be a self starter
- luxury camper available for living if needed.
- Work week constant of 5 days a week.
- Stall available for the right candidate
