Ambulatory Veterinarian

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated, team-oriented Ambulatory Veterinarian to join our dynamic and supportive practice. The ideal candidate is compassionate, client-focused, and dedicated to providing outstanding care both in the field and in collaboration with our hospital team.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide on-site equine medical care for clients throughout Ventura County and surrounding areas
2. Perform routine wellness exams, vaccinations, dentistry, lameness evaluations, and emergency services
3. Collaborate with specialists on complex medical, surgical, and reproductive cases
4. Maintain detailed medical records and strong client communication
5. Participate in rotating emergency duty shared among associates

Qualifications:

1. DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
2. California veterinary license (or eligibility for licensure)
3. Valid driver’s license with clean record
4. Excellent diagnostic, communication, and organizational skills
5. Experience or strong interest in equine medicine, lameness, or sports medicine
