Stable Hand

Primary Daily Responsibilities include:

1. Horse turn out
2. Muck and maintain stalls (typically 18 – 25)
3. Feed, water and care of horses, goats, barn cats, catio bengal cats and chickens
4. Monitor vet and farrier activity
5. Manage feed, hay and bedding supply inventory
6. Customer relations with borders
7. Safety leadership

Periodic Tasks include:

1. Maintenance and upkeep of horse barn and associated building
2. Help Unload and transport hay, grain and supplies
3. Groom arena barn footing
4. Fence maintenance and repairs
5. Periodic help with Farmer’s Markets and events
