Windrush Farm, North Andover, MA
Windrush Farm, located in a beautiful setting north of Boston, has been providing equine-assisted services for riders of all abilities since 1964. Services include mounted and unmounted programs, field trips and summer programs. Windrush is a leading PATH Intl. Premier accredited center that strives to help its clients reach their full potential. We are looking to hire a full or part-time Program Director who wishes to join a vibrant team and make a difference in our community.
Responsibilities
Oversee key aspects of the programs
Maintain relationships with current clients and organizations
Together with leadership, innovate and expand programs and services to meet community needs
Evaluate program effectiveness and implement improvements
Ensure that all equine assisted services programs are in accordance with PATH Intl Standards Manage a Program Assistant
Essential qualifications
Must have some horse knowledge/experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, non-profit management, and/or equine-assisted services
Preferred qualifications
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to multitask and meet deadlines
Flexible team player.
The ideal candidate is a MA licensed instructor and PATHIntl. CTRI so could also do some
instructing for a few hours each week. Windrush Farm will offer a training program for the right candidate who would like to earn their Massachusetts instructor license and/or PATH Intl. CTRI certification.
