Horse Farm Manager

Job Description

Seeking a full-time, hands-on individual for a Horse Breeding Farm in North Carolina. Required minimum of 5 years equine experience and must be able to work independently with little to no supervison. Candidate is required to have experience in handling stallions and breeding mares, foaling out mares, and care of newborn foals after birth. Experience in halter training and handling foals is a plus. Needs good knowledge of farm tractors and hay equipment operation and have ability to do simple repairs and routine maintenance of equipment as needed. Know how to get hay cut and baled for horses. Responsible for maintenance of fences and small repairs to barns and buildings. Mowing grass and weed eating is included as part of maintenance. Daily duties are feeding twice a day and cleaning stalls and any other duties assigned. Maintain health of horses and cleanliness of the barns and farm.

Housing and cell phone are provided and $125.00 will be paid on utility bill.
