H/J instructor – Trainer

Bradshaw Equestrian Center in Mooresville, NC is looking for a professional Barn Manager/Trainer/Instructor for our 50 stall barn.

Must have background in hunter/jumpers and equitation. A competition record up to 1.3m is preferred.

References, valid driver license, background screen, and drug screen are required.

Salary and a stall plus benefits and housing will be provided for the right candidate. Health insurance, 401k, and paid vacation. Commissions for certain transactions.

Duties will include teaching lessons, schooling horses as needed, assistance with marketing sale prospects, monitoring health of all animals on property including horses, cats, and chickens, assistance with maintaining adequate stock of hay and grain, shavings, medications, and general supplies used by the facility. Professional and comprehensive communication with clients will be required. Assistance with all barn chores as needed as well as help with hiring, training, and managing farm staff.

Ability to pull a trailer is a plus. Operation of some farm equipment will be required but we are willing to teach.

Some travel will be required for showing, project trials, etc.
