EquidDoc Veterinary Services LLC is seeking an experienced Equine Veterinary Technician or highly skilled Assistant to join our growing mobile practice. This role is ideal for a candidate who is confident in equine handling, diagnostic support, and field-based workflows, and is looking for a collaborative environment with opportunities to expand technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Clinical Support - Assist with radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy procedures; Prepare, operate, and maintain diagnostic equipment in the field; Support veterinarians during lameness exams, emergencies, and procedures

Patient Care - Safely handle and restrain equine patients independently; Monitor patient status during procedures and treatments

Laboratory & Pharmacy - Process and submit diagnostic samples; Prepare and dispense medications accurately

Mobile Practice Operations - Manage inventory and maintain veterinary vehicles; Ensure equipment readiness for daily farm calls; Professional customer communications both in person and via phone/email

Medical Records - Accurately enter and manage patient records and treatment notes

Qualifications - 2+ years veterinary experience (equine strongly preferred), Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred but not required, Strong equine handling skills required, Experience with diagnostic imaging and lab work preferred, Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record, Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a mobile/outdoor environment

Schedule- Full-time preferred, Primarily weekday farm-based schedule, Seasonal variation typical of equine practice, No overnight or on-call shifts
