Los Caballos Equine Practice – Galt, CA
Los Caballos Equine Practice is seeking a motivated, dependable Part-Time Equine Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant to join our team!
Position Details:
• Part-time (approximately 2–3 days per week)
• Pay dependent on experience
• Equine experience is mandatory
• Veterinary experience preferred, but on-the-job training available for the right candidate
We are looking for someone who is a team player, takes initiative, works well independently, and has a positive, professional attitude in a fast-paced equine practice environment.
Job Duties May Include:
• Assisting with equine exams and treatments
• Digital radiography (X-rays) and ultrasound assistance
• Treatment preparation and patient care
• Laboratory work
• Office support and medical records
• Billing and appointment scheduling
• Client communication
• Assisting the veterinarian on farm calls as needed
The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, comfortable around horses, and passionate about equine veterinary medicine.
