Equine Care Coordinator/Trainer

The Equine Care Coordinator works with other caretakers and supervisor to keep the rescue barn running smoothly, orders all supplies, holds for all appointments, keeps files and records for all horse care.

Additionally, this position requires the candidate to evaluate rescue horses for past training and capabilities and works with these horses to help them become more adoptable. Advanced riding and training experience is required. Candidate meets with potential adopters to help match them with appropriate horses, follows through with record keeping with adoptions.

The candidate should live within 45 minutes of Lima, NY, have drivers license, reliable transportation and cell phone. They should be willing to work as a team, communicate well, and have a strong desire and empathy in helping needy horses to a better future.
