Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Salary: $68,640 + Housing Included + Full Benefits

Location: Canyon Lake, CA

The Canyon Lake Property Owners Association seeks a hands-on, experienced Equestrian Manager to oversee the daily operations and care at our private, member-based equestrian facility. This is more than a job—it’s a lifestyle opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured outdoor environment and takes pride in caring for horses, facilities, and community.

What You’ll Do

  1. Supervise a small team of stable hands to ensure the feeding, cleaning, and care of up to 54 horses
  2. Maintain arenas, stalls, fencing, water systems, and pasture areas
  3. Communicate professionally with boarders and horse owners, addressing requests and concerns
  4. Enforce equestrian rules and oversee safety practices aligned with Cal/OSHA standards
  5. Groom arenas (3 times weekly), maintain dust control, and ensure safe, clean, and organized grounds
  6. Monitor horses’ health and respond appropriately to signs of distress or illness
  7. Track and manage feed, supplies, and equipment inventory
  8. Open the facility at 6:30 a.m. daily and complete a nightly health check by 10 p.m.

What You Bring

  1. At least 5 years of hands-on horse care and stable management experience
  2. High school diploma or equivalent
  3. Strong communication and leadership skills
  4. Knowledge of facility and equipment maintenance
  5. A calm, professional approach—even under pressure
  6. Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and lift 75 lbs+
