Job Description
PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI)
Therapeutic & Recreational Riding Center, Inc. (TRRC) is seeking a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor to provide safe, effective, and engaging therapeutic riding instruction to individuals with disabilities in accordance with PATH Intl. standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan and teach therapeutic riding lessons
- Assess riders and establish goals
- Select and manage horses for lessons
- Direct volunteers and side walkers
- Maintain documentation and progress records
- Uphold safety and risk-management practices
- Support horse conditioning and program readiness
Qualifications
- Current PATH Intl. CTRI certification
- Experience teaching riders with disabilities
- Strong horsemanship and horse handling
- Effective communication and teamwork
- First Aid/CPR certification
Part-time or full-time based on availability.
