Assistant Manager
Job Description
- Must be over the age of 18
- Hours:Thursday thru Monday 6:30am to 11:30am and 3:00pm - 6:00pm
- Daily 4 point check of all the horses
- Turn horses in and out
- Keep all horses safe and out of harm
- Provide minor equestrian medical attention and administer medications as needed or directed
- Holding for veterinarians and farriers
- Feeding and watering
- ability to make food and supplements
- Daily hoof picking and oil application on all horses
- Picking stalls
- Lunging/grooming as needed
- steaming hay
- must be able to lift 50lbs
- Maintain a calendar of significant items for each horse (Shots, Injuries, etc.)
- Team player, and be able to manage a team
- Blanketing as needed
- show venue responsibilities as well
- Must be able to put the horse first
- Must be a self starter
- Work week constant of 5 days a week.
- Stall available for the right candidate
