Apprentice Young Horse Trainer

Job Description

The Apprentice Young Horse Trainer position includes shared responsibility for the care and training of Young Horses (ages foal – 8 years) in the areas of ground training, introduction to under saddle work, foundation/fitness training and free jumping. The Apprentice should have current expertise in either ground work (lunging / long lining) or foundation training under saddle. Preferably dressage experience up to 1st level, but we can also train western and jumper riders. Dedication to quality horse care, a compassionate training approach, excellent work ethic and track record of harmonious team relationship building is essential.
