Veterianary Tech or assistant

Gas Light Equine is growing again. We are looking for a veterinary Technician or a qualified assistant to work in an equine ambulatory practice. We are looking for someone to assist the vet in daily calls and a small amount of farm and office work. We need someone that is willing to learn veterinary work and is comfortable working around horses. This position is a  full time position that would be 4 days per week. tuesday through friday. Working with the vet you will be drawing up medications, administering medications and entering billing and medical records. You will also be assisting in labratory work, gastroscopy, and radiology. We are a family friendly environment and we are looking for someone that would like to be with us for a while. Most of our employees have been here several years.
