Stable Attendant
Do you have a passion for working with horses? Do you enjoy working outside? If so, a Stable Attendant at Central Georgia Equine Services, Inc. may be the position for you!
Specific responsibilities include:
- Daily care of horses including feeding, turnout and grooming.
- Cleaning stalls, grounds and all necessary supplies and equipment
- May clean tack and facilities as needed
- Inspecting horses for disease, illness, and injury and reporting to the veterinarian
This is a part time position with flexible scheduling. AM shifts begin at 7 am, PM shifts begin at 4pm. Some weekend and holiday work is required.
Skills/Requirements
- Previous experience with horses
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to lift at least 50lbs
- Being able to stand and bend for a long period of time
- Being able to demonstrate a concern for and understanding of horses
- Good communication, customer service and basic math skills.
