Immediate Need – Barn Assistant – Groom

We’re a 40 Acre private facility 10 minutes from Middleburg, VA.  I’m a former FEI-Level Trainer/Competitor, and Equine Rehab Practitioner, and looking for someone that has a real passion for working with horses.

I need a mellow, experienced horse person with maturity who can work without being micro-managed and without texting all day. She’ll know how barns work and what needs to be done.

We’re 60% Equine Rehab (NOT a rescue) and the rest is long-term (10-20 years) valued clients. This is a “working in barn” position. It gets busy and also has quiet time. Sorry but, it’s not for Trainers wanting to train.

Live-On-Farm required, Single Person, Quiet, No Smoking/Vaping. Zero Tolerance for illegal drugs & heavy drinking.

Included is a private 2-story fully-furnished barn apartment w/ excellent bedroom furniture and appliances. Heat/A-C/WiFi included. Apartment is not reported as income.

Must have own car/truck. Sorry we cannot accept your horse, and no Pets. We have two working dogs and a 3rd just won’t work for us (we’ve tried it).

Paid vacation and daily schedule has some slack time. We have ride-outs over the neighboring properties.
