We're looking for a consistent barn worker to come and do morning chores between the times of 9 am - 12 pm during the fall/winter months on Tuesday, Thursday and the weekend (AM or PM tbd). Our current worker will soon be leaving for college in the fall and will be unable to continue working after 8/15/2024. Currently we have 8 horses in our barn, but only 7 actively work. Morning work is a flat rate of $60 and is a part time job.
Morning work includes:
- leading horses in and out to pasture
- feeding breakfast, making dinner, tossing hay, and refilling water buckets
- cleaning stalls
Interested applicants should NOT expect to ride, and we currently do not accept working in exchange for riding. Our horses are ridden by our instructors and selected staff only. Basic horse experience (leading and interacting with horses, barn safety, etc.) is encouraged but not required, and applicants should be able bodied and be able to lift and push heavy loads. We will assist and help teach whatever skills might be needed! For more information, please contact us at [email protected] .
